GMOs are otherwise called as genetically modified organisms. These are the organisms in which its genetic material will be altered in a way that is not occurred naturally by malting or natural recombination, using technology called as Modern Bio technology or Gene Engineering or r DNA technology. Individual genes can be transferred from one organism o other organism and also between non related species. Many scientists claim that GMO foods are safe despite of public scepticism. GMOs are proved to be safe for humans, animals and also to environment. All the major scientific bodies have come to conclusion that GMO foods are safe and does not cause any harm.
