When someone has an urge to eat, it causes the body to release dopamine. It stimulates our appetite and makes us hungry and makes us want more even if the body does not need it. So when our body is hungry, we have to take a lot of water. When the stomach is full of water, the body will stop sending signals to the brain that it wants food. The second way to control the diet is to get enough rest or sleep. There are two hormones, leptin and ghrelin which are controlled by sleep and these hormones also control appetite. Proteins control the amount we eat by making us feel full. Therefore, having protein in your breakfast will encourage a person to eat less throughout the day in order to control their diet. Likewise, fiber makes us feel full sooner and it also stays in the stomach longer than other substances we eat, which slows digestion and gives us a feeling of satiety.
