Editorial

The Clinical Gastroenterology Journal (CGJ) was inaugurated in 2016 and has continued publishing successfully with Volume 5 in 2020. CGJ is the most preferred and highly accessed journal in the field of Gastroenterology. At many instances members of the editorial board also prefer to submit their articles. It is a pleasure to introduce the first issue of 2020 of the Clinical Gastroenterology Journal. The journal has successfully completed 4 volumes [1-5] and happy to announce that the first issue of the fifth volume has published and now accepting manuscripts further. The journal is devoted to the publication of empirical research findings, opinion pieces, and methodological developments in the field of epidemiologic research.

Since the journal was established, CGJ has published interesting theoretical papers in Gastroenterology, Hepatology, Digestive Diseases, Pancereatic Diseases, Gall bladder and bilary tract, Oesophageal diseases, Gastrointestinal infections, Bowel endometriosis, Clinical infectious diseases, Celiac Disease, Colon Disorders, Colitis, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Crohns Disease, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Intestinal Blockage, Appendicitis, Diverticulitis, Ulcer etc. Papers published in the journal range from novel technical and theoretical papers to innovative empirical contributions. The journal wishes to encourage critical review papers on topical subjects in any of the topics mentioned above wit in the scope of the journnal.

CGJ encourages editorial board members to actively contribute. However, no special privileges are given to anyone. All scientific manuscripts including editorials are subjected to peer review process. The editorial team consisting of associate editors and assistant editors are involved in the entire article cycle starting from submission to final recommendation. The entire review process is carefully structured so as to minimize possibility of bias.

The editorial team of the journal continues to work in trying to improve its relevance and scope. It’s happy to announce number of submissions and citations are increasing proportionally with passing years. The editorial office of the journal promises peer review process for the submitted manuscripts for the quality of publishing. All the manuscript published by Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology are available freely online immediately after publication without any subscription charges or registration.

In 2019 journal has released annual issue witsh more than 13 articles. Due to the constant support from the authors and researchers the journal has completed its 4th volume successfully. It has also rejected more than 5 to 6 articles due to the plagiarism. We are proud to say that the journal strictly follows publication ethics. The manuscript will be subjected to peer review process and the article will be published only after the acceptance from 2-3 reviewers and final acceptance from the editorial board member.

We thank all the editorial board members for their constant support that rendered towards the growth of the journal. We also thank our reviewers for their support and hard work in reviewing our manuscripts.

In 2020 the journal came with many policies. It offers annual membership which helps authors to publish their research work. Also it is offering huge discounts on the membership. The objective of this journal is to encourage publication from various contexts addressing issues from different perspectives within the scope of the journal. Journal also uses social media like twitter, facebook, linkedin for posting all the aspects of the journal. All the articles published in the journal are posted in the social media so that it may help readers and researchers globally.
