Pyloric Obstruction

(GOO)Gastric outlet obstruction its also Called because the pyloric obstruction isn't one individual; it is the clinical and pathophysiological consequence of any disease process that produces a mechanical impediment to gastric emptying. Gastric outlet obstruction can be a diagnostic and treatment dilemma causes of gastric outlet obstruction include both benign causes (such as peptic ulcer disease affecting the area around the pylorus), as well as malignant causes, such as gastric cancer, source related to ulcers, may involve in severe pain which the patient may illustrate as a heart condition/attack. Signs include Vomiting after feeding. The baby may vomit emphatically, ejecting breast milk or formula up to many feet away (projectile vomiting)Persistent hunger, Stomach contractions, Dehydration Your baby might cry without tears or become lethargic, Changes in bowel movements, Weight problem.
