Biography

Dr. A. H. L. R. Nilmini Liyanage, obtained her BSc Chemistry Special Degree from the University of Colombo and her PhD in the area of polymers use in drug and gene delivery from the Cardiff University U.K. In 1999 she started her career as a Research Officer attached to the Polymer Chemistry Department of Rubber Research Institute of Sri Lanka and since 2012 she worked as the head of the Polymer Chemistry Department. In 2018 she was appointed as the head of the Engineering Technology Department.
