Tumor Immunobiology

Tumor immunobiology is to understand the role of the immune system and inflammation in the development and progression of cancer, and to harness the power of the immune system to develop novel immune based therapies and vaccines against all types of cancer. Cancer immunology is a branch of immunology that studies interactions between the immune system and cancer cells. It is a growing field of research that aims to discover innovative cancer immunotherapies to treat and retard progression of the disease.
