OMICS Journals refers to OMICS Online Publishing Group journals dedicated to the publication of articles related to the fields of genomics, proteomics, glyomics, lipidomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and ergonomics. The objective of OMICS Magazine focuses on a specific research discipline, providing an ingenious and impactful platform to encompass developments in technology research. OMICS International has succeeded in making its place in the scientific community with more than 700 peer-reviewed journals supported by more than 50,000 editorial board members, publishing more than 13,000 articles in one year that are accessible to more than 100,000 academics in everyone through the World Wide Web. It is also a leading organizer of scientific events, annually organizing more than 3,000 international scientific conferences worldwide with the support of more than 1,000 scientific associations. Molecular profiling refers to the study of specific patterns, or signature, of proteins, mRNAs, DNA. PTC molecular profiling offers a valuable tool for identifying genes that can be used as diagnostic and prognostic markers. The molecular profile of the papillary thyroid carcinoma samples and the matched controls identified 177 differentially expressed genes (98 up-regulated and 79 down-regulated). Up-regulation of potential biomarkers was verified in expanded sample sets using qRT-PCR and immunohistochemistry, and included arachidonic acid 5-lipoxygenase (ALOX5), urokinase plasminogen activator and its receptor (uPA / uPAR), and kallikreins 7 and 10 (KLK7 / KLK10). ALOX5 expression was elevated in PTC (22.57 times) and showed a direct correlation with tumor invasiveness.
