Electronic Engineering is an electrical engineering discipline that uses nonlinear and active electrical components to design electronic circuits, devices, VLSI devices and their systems. Typically, the discipline often designs passive electrical devices, typically based on impressed circuit boards. Electronics is a subfield within the broader academic subject of electrical engineering but denotes a broad field of engineering covering subfields such as analog electronics, digital electronics, consumer electronics, embedded systems, and power electronics. Electronics engineering deals with implementing applications, principles and algorithms developed in many related fields; Solid state physics, radio engineering, telecommunications, control systems, signal processing, computer engineering, instrumentation engineering, electrical power control, robotics, and many others.
