Clinical Immunology Review Articles

The Journal of Clinical Immunology is an international journal that publishes high impact articles in the field of human immunology that explore the diagnosis, pathogenesis, prognosis or treatment of human diseases.These include innate errors of immunity, in the broad sense of the term, their underlying genotypes and their various phenotypes, including infection, malignancy, allergy, auto-inflammation and autoimmunity. We consider a wide range of studies in this area, ranging from genetic discovery, clinical description, immunological assessment, diagnostic approach, prognostic assessment and therapeutic intervention. This well-established journal publishes articles on fundamental, translational and clinical studies, including relevant animal models and case reports of general importance.

Allergy in childhood, diagnosis of allergy by using the clinical immunology laboratory, anaphylaxis, angioedema, desensitization, management of pulmonary disease with primary antibody deficiency, recurrent infections in childhood, recurrent infections adulthood, recurrent orogenital ulceration, recurrent superficial abscess, hives, vasculitis / CTD

Allergen immunotherapy describes the treatment of allergic diseases by administering increasing doses of the allergen. This form of induction of immune tolerance is now safer, more reliable and better understood than when it was officially described for the first time in 1911. Their objective is to summarize the current state of the art in immunotherapy in the treatment inhalants, venom and drugs. allergies, with specific reference to his practice in the United Kingdom. A practical approach has been taken, referring to current evidence and guidelines, including illustrative protocols and vaccination schedules. A number of case approaches and techniques are likely to significantly change the way we select and treat allergic patients over the next decade, and these advances are reviewed.
