Biological Bioprospecting Peer-review Journal

Combining high strength and elasticity, spider silks are exceptionally hard, that is to say that they are capable of absorbing massive kinetic energy before breaking. Spider silk is therefore a model polymer for the development of high performance biomimetic fibers. There are more than 41,000 species of spiders described, most spinning several types of silk. Thus, we have at your disposal some 200,000+ unique bristles which can cover an incredible range of material properties. Such bioprospecting of bristles promises to reveal new fibers that have different combinations of material properties. However, fishing blindly for such bristles by choosing species at random or by systematically sampling all the bristles of all species is both ineffective. A journal is a periodic publication intended to advance science, usually by reporting new research. Most journals are highly specialized, although some of the older journals publish articles, journals, editorials, short papers, letters and scientific articles in a wide range of scientific fields. The journals contain peer-reviewed articles to ensure that the articles meet the quality and scientific validity standards of the journal. Each of these review articles is part of the permanent scientific dossier.
