Biography
Dr. Rodríguez Romero received her Ph.D. in Chemistry from the Autonomous Metropolitan University in 1991, specializing in Protein Crystallography. She spent one year (95-96) at the Center for Advanced Research in Biotechnology, NIST, Maryland, USA, as Guest Researcher. She joined the staff of the Chemistry Institute in 1986 receiving funds for her research from CONACyT and DGAPA-UNAM. She has published 56 articles in indexed prestigious journals, several chapters of books and articles in popular science journals. She was distinguished as Full Researcher at the Institute of Chemistry.
