Biography

Professor Ioannis E. Messinis is an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist trained in Athens and Sweden. He worked in Edinburgh and Aberdeen (5 years) in the post of Senior Lecturer. His research interest is Reproductive Endocrinology. He has authored more than 170 papers in peer review journals. He is also a member of the Editorial Board of several international journals and a regular reviewer in more than 30 international peer review journals. Until recently (2009), he was the president of the Hellenic Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and Editor-in-Chief of the Hellenic Journal of Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
