Identified beneficial effects of all-trans retinoic acid (Vitamin A) and histone deacetylase (HDAC) inhibitor in attenuation of renal abnormalities under reduced guanylyl cyclase signaling.

Identified class specific HDACs involved in regulation of Npr1 gene expression under different pathophysiological conditions in various cell culture models.

Supervise problem based learning sessions of 1st year medical students in Physiology course.  Prepare and submit grants, write/edit manuscripts and submit in journals.

Train and design projects/experiments for postdoctoral fellows, graduate students, summer students, and technicians. Managed budget and project personnel for the pilot project grant.
