Missile Defense Impact Factor

The organization of weapon, or technology involves detection, tracking, interception, and destruction of attacking missiles is called Missile defense. It shows vast application in shorter-ranged non-nuclear tactical and theater missiles. Missile defense can be categorized into various characteristics that include type or range of missile intercepted. Each unique requirement for intercept, and a defensive system capable of intercepting one missile cannot intercept others. The types of missile defense intercepted includes strategic, theater and tactical. Strategic involves targets long-range that  travel at about 7 km/s. Theater targets medium-range missiles that travel at about 3 km/s. Tactical targets short-range tactical ballistic missiles, that usually travel at less than 1.5 km/s. The impact factor is a measure of the prevalence with which the average article in a journal has been cited in a particular year.
