Aquaculture is the farming of fish, crustaceans, molluscs, aquatic plants, algae, and other organisms.
Aquaculture also referred as aquafarming that involves cultivating freshwater and saltwater populations under controlled conditions, and may be contrasted with commercial fishing, which is the harvesting of wild fish . Mariculture refers to aquaculture practiced in marine environments and in underwater habitats.
Fish-Aquaculture scientific journal is an interdisciplinary journal which focuses and seeks to draw research from aquafarming and fisheries harvesting in order to provide suitable knowledge on farming of aquatic organisms. It also aims to provide knowledge on cultivation, harvesting and rearing of fishes for commercial usage.
