Aquaculture-ponds Top Journals

A fish pond is a controlled pond, an artificial lake or a reservoir which is stocked with fish and is further used in aquaculture for fish farming, also used for recreational fishing or for ornamental purposes.Pond culture is a very popular aquaculture production method as it is with many aquatic species cultured in ponds.
Ponds must be in a properly well sited and built with careful assessment of water availability, quantity and quality  in order to have a successful pond production. 
There are two main types of pond systems:

Watershed system levee system
