Dr. Stacey Herbert Brann is an Assistant Professor Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Temple University School of Medicine Philadelphia PA. He is UNOScertified in cardiopulmonary transplantation and mechanical circulatory assistance University of Pittsburgh Medical Center PA and was recently appointed as the Region 2 Representative on the national UNOS/OPTN Minority Affairs Committee Dr Brann is a graduate of the University of the West Indies MBBS 1987; A Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh 1992; completed his Cardiothoracic Surgery Residency in Birmingham England 199396 followed by a Fellowship in Adult Cardiac Surgery at the Montreal Heart Institute Canada 1997-98; and was awarded the Master of Science Distinction in Surgical Cardiology 1998 Imperial College University of London England.

Research Interest

ECMO; VAD; donor awareness education in minorities. He is a member of several prestigious organizations including the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
