Special Issue: COVID-19 Pandemic and The Skin

The spread of the Corona Virus has sparked concern worldwide and prompted many leaders to take decisive action to contain the virus. Several states have mandated citizens to stay home from work, socially distance and remain indoors, meaning people have found their time outside has been drastically reduced. Although they may not be exposed to direct sunlight as often, The Skin Cancer Foundation advised everyone to remain vigilant in regard to protecting their skin and checking their body for suspicious lesions.

Apart from sun exposure, COVID-19 outbreak has affected the skin in several other ways which has to be explained to our online reader base. The Upcoming Special issue will focus on the Dermatological aspects of COVID-19 infection, and the preventive measures that could be taken during the Novel Corona virus Pandemic Outbreak.

Submission Process Special issue articles can include both original unpublished research articles and review articles related to the specific theme. Manuscripts will be accepted for publishing in the special issue only after getting approved by the peer review committee [selected by the guest editor(s)]. All the articles in special issues should strictly adhere to journal style and formatting. Each special issue can be created with 10-15 articles. All accepted manuscripts can be submitted online at https://www.scholarscentral.org/submissions/pigmentary-disorders.html
