Biography

Dr. Chen graduated from the National Taiwan University and obtained his medical degree from the National Taiwan University School of Medicine. He completed four years of residency training in dermatology at National Taiwan University Hospital (NTUH). Upon completion of his training at NTUH, Dr. Chen was certified by the Taiwanese Dermatological Association. Dr. Chen has also published many scientific papers on contact dermatitis, psoriasis, infectious disease, lymphoma, and nail disorders. Dr. Chen is recently involved in both dermatological and cosmetic treatment procedures for the past 10 years. His expertise is in skin pigmentation, acne correction, rosacea, photo-aging, anti-aging and laser treatments. He is especially experienced and skillful in performing Botox, Restylane injection and other treatments for acne scar, wrinkles correction and facial contouring and enhancement.

Biography

Jean Christopher Chamcheu is presently the Director of Molecular Dermatology & Experimental Therapeutics Lab in School of Pharmaceutical & Toxicological Sciences at University of Louisiana at Monroe. Dr. Chamcheu first earned a BS in Biochemistry from the University of Dschang in Cameroon, Africa, and went to Sweden where he obtained MS in 2004 in Biomedicine from the Health Science University of Linkoping and more importantly then obtained his PhD in 2010 in Dermatology & Venereology from the Faculty of Medicine at Uppsala University in Sweden. After his PhD, Dr. Chamcheu moved to the United States and immediately joined the Department of Dermatology, SMPH, UW-Madison as a Postdoctoral Research Associate. In 2014, he was promoted to the Scientist track (a non-tenured research faculty position), where he currently works as an Assistant Scientist (equivalent to the Research Assistant Professor track elsewhere). Dr. Chamcheu’s research efforts till date, has been devoted to investigating and understanding the underlying genetic and molecular basis of skin diseases and to developing novel methods and mechanism-based, small-molecular-weight natural inhibitors and dietary agents for prevention and treatment of hereditary, hyperproliferative, and inflammatory skin diseases and skin cancer. Since then his research has been focused on defining the role of Caspase-14 and PI3K/Akt/mTOR signaling in psoriasis, a chronic immune-mediated inflammatory skin condition, and evaluating/developing some small molecules natural dietary agents as novel treatment modalities to address both cutaneous and immunopathogenesis of the hyperproliferative, keratinizing and inflammatory skin disorders. Dr. Chamcheu has published over 21 peer-reviewed scientific articles in various areas and has co-authored 2 Book Chapters. He also serves a member of several professional societies, as well as editorial board member/consultant and reviewer of several scientific journals.

Iqbal Abdulaziz Bukhari is a Professor in Dermatology Department, College of Medicine, University of Dammam, Saudi Arabia. He aslo worked in American Board of Laser Surgery in Dermatology, Florida, USA. He got KFU Fellowship in Dermatological diseases, College of Medicine, King Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, 1994 MBBS, College of Medicine, King Faisal University, Dammam, Saudi Arabia in 1989. He is a member of Saudi Society of Dermatology and Dermatology Surgery, American Academy of Dermatology, European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology, Americam Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, International Academy of Cosmetic Dermatology, Womens Dermatology Society of USA, Photomedicne Society and The International Society of Dermatopathology.
