Biography

Prof. C.S. Ramesh Babu has done his M.Sc. in Human Anatomy from Madras Medical College, Madras University during the period of 1973. Currently, he is working as Associate Professor of Anatomy, Muzaffarnagar Medical College, Muzaffarnagar, India, affiliated to C.C.S. University, Meerut, India. He has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities as Head of the Department of Anatomy, L.L.R.M. Medical College, Meerut from 2003 to 2010. His research has included studying vascular and other anomalies/variations by MDCT Angiography, Coronary Angiography, MRI and gross dissection. Collaborating with a Gastroenterologist he is studying EUS (Endoscopic Ultrasonography) and EBUS (Endobronchial Ultrasonography) Anatomy of Mediastinum and EUS Anatomy of abdomen and pelvis. Based on this research he has received several awards and honors, such as: DrMahdi Hasan Memorial Gold Medal in Clinical Anatomy awarded by Anatomical Society of India. He is serving as an editorial member of several reputed journals like Journal of Anatomical Society of India, Journal of Clinical & Diagnostic Research & expert Reviewers for journals like Journal of Clinical & Diagnostic Research, Anatomy and Physiology- Current Research and some OMICS Publishing Group Journals, Journal of Anatomical Society of India. He has authored about 51 research articles/ a book and contributed chapters to two books. He is a member of Anatomical Society of India.
