Preethi Ravindranathan has received her Master’s in Biotechnology from Stephen F. Austin State University, Nacogdoches, Texas, USA; she is working as a research associate in UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas. She has successfully completed her Administrative responsibilities as Research Technician (II) in UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas TX and graduate research Assistant in UT Health Science Center at Tyler, Tyler TX. Her research work has included 1.Studying the role of protein PKC in the regulation of human lung surfactant protein-B in lung inflammatory diseases and infections, 2. Development of tumor culture model for the evaluation of therapeutic agents in human solid tumors, 3.Studying the role of variants of AR protein in advanced stages (castration -resistant) of prostate cancer (CRPC) and evaluating rationally designed peptidomimetics in blocking AR variant activity, 4. Designing and evaluating small molecules to inhibit protein interactions to block prostate cancer progression. He /she has Reviewed 5 publications and 2 books and has also presented 6 conferences, she is a member of American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) we look forward to a close and lasting scientific relationship for the benefit of scientific community.
