Biography

Prof/Dr. Gutiérrez Bayard, Lucía. She has received her PhD Radiation Oncology in Seville, Spain University during the period of 1993-1996 and has received her MD in Seville University in 2006. Currently, she is working as Radiotherapy Oncology in Cádiz- Spain-Hospital University “Puerta del Mar”. She has successfully completed his Administrative responsibilities since 2000 Associate Professor of Health Sciences, Department of Radiology and Physical Medicine, Faculty of Medicine of Cadiz. Her research has included Head and Neck, prostate cancer, palliative radiotherapy, quality assurance and safety. Based on this research and fellowship training he has received several awards and honors, such as: Award for best oral communication “When pain restricts symptomatic radiotherapy procedure” in XVIII CONGRESO SEOR, 4-6 June 2015, Valencia; Annual Prize 2015. Hon. College of Physicians of the Province of Cadiz work: “Prostate Cancer in Men Cadiz: Improving tolerance to radiotherapy with a new technique of image-guided radiotherapy”. She is serving as an Editorial Board Member of Journal of Advances in Radiology and Medical Imaging Annex Publishers and Clinical and Translational Oncology since 2014. She has authored more than 25 research articles/chapters books, and 17 international scientific communications. She is a member of ESTRO National Societies Committee; SEOR (Spanish Society of Radiation Oncology); GEORCC (Spanish Group Radiation Oncology in Head and Neck Cancer); SAC (Andalusian Society of Cancerology).
