Molecular Imaging Impact Factor

Molecular imaging means the visualization, measurement and characterization of biological processes at the cellular and molecular level in humans and other living systems. The journal impact factor provides a quantitative evaluation tool for classifying, evaluating, sorting and comparing journals of a similar nature. It reflects the average number of citations of recent articles published in scientific and social journals in a given year or period, and is frequently used as an indirect indicator of the relative importance of a journal in its field . It was first designed by Eugene Garfield, the founder of the Institute for Scientific Information. The impact factor of a review is assessed by dividing the number of citations from the current year to source articles published in this review in the previous two years.
