Next generation sequencing (NGS) has made it possible to provide pathogenic and commerciall significant organisms with complete genome sequences in a limited time and at minimal cost. Computational comparative genomics is necessary, given that we are sequencing thousands of organisms every day, but our follow-up knowledge is still very limited. Nonetheless, genomic knowledge from a single genome is inadequate to provide insight into the lifestyle and expanded view of the gene pool of the species. Different genomes could enrich our understanding of the relationship and variation of species. OMICS Group International is one of the leading Open Access Journals to publish more than 700 peer-reviewed journals with the dramatic contributions of editorial board members. Bacteriology & Parasitology Journal publishes research papers, new scientific findings dealing with the use of human or veterinary bacteria and parasites of medical interest and microbiological findings in environmental or food sciences.
