The actions of modern naval forces to warfare sea based terrorism and other illegal activities, such as piracy, armed robbery, maritime terrorism, illicit trafficking by sea, i.e. narcotics trafficking, small arms and light weapons trafficking, human trafficking, global climate change, cargo theft and slavery are known as Maritime security operations. There is great importance to control these kinds of illegal issues because the World trade is dependent on maritime transport. A great steps have been tend to came in force recent years to render this system as open and friction less as possible in order to encourage greater economic growth. Nevertheless, the things that have allowed maritime transport to contribute to economic prosperity also provide it uniquely vulnerable to exploitation by terrorist groups. The risks are more and numerous which encompass both containerized and bulk shipping. Risk impacts are foremost, and range from the possibility for physical breaches in the uprightness of shipments and vessels to documentary fraud and illegal terrorist groups.
