Gait Online Journals

Journal of Forensic Biomechanical is known for its integrity and quality among all open-access journals in Gait analysis. The journal publishes high quality articles, editorials as well as review articles covering major aspects in Gait analysis. Gait analysis is the study of animal locomotion, in particular the human motion, through observations. These observations are then enhanced by instrumentation for measuring body movements, body mechanics, and the activity of the muscles. Gait analysis finds application in assessing and treating individuals with conditions affecting their ability to walk. Another application of gait analysis is in sports (biomechanical) where it is used to help athletes run more efficiently and to identify posture-related or movement-related problems in people with injuries. The study includes measuring various parameters of gait, its interpretation and drawing conclusions about the animal (health, age, size, weight, speed etc.) from its gait pattern. Journal of Forensic Biomechanical is strongly supported by efficient editorial board members and expert reviewers of OMICS International who are actively involved in qualitative review process through which advanced and explanatory articles get published. The investigation incorporates estimating different parameters of step, its understanding and making determinations about the creature (wellbeing, age, size, weight, speed and so on.) from its walk design.
