When skin is invaded by foreign particles called microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, virus and parasite, it leads to a condition called skin infection or dermatological infection. They can be mild or serious, with the latter requiring medical attention. The outermost layer of the skin (stratum corneum) forms a protective barrier and prevents harmful microorganisms like bacteria and fungi from entering the skin. Skin is prone to such kind of diseases or infections when this barrier is damaged allowing the microbes inside our body. Dermatological infection Top Journals gives us information about the skin infections that are caused, their effects, treatments and research regarding to better treatment.
