Cavum Septi pellucid (CSP), a cavity in the middle of the laminae of the septum pellucidum, for a greater period has been noted as an anomaly of the brain midline, combined with neuropsychiatric diseases, frequently schizophrenia, but also posttraumatic stress disorder. One potential contributor to the variability seen across studies is the manner in which CSP has been measured. Normally pitfalls in the sonographic evaluation of CSP cause columns of the fornix that mimic CSP, and outstanding cavum vergae that can pretend non-visualization of the CSP. When non-visualisation of the CSP is imagined, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of the prenatal brain can confirm and evaluate associated anomalies. This journal gives open access to current developments, technologies, new innovations in the form of articles, manuscripts, case reports, from all over the world.
