An effective anti-oxidant which neutralizes the free radicals in the body and protects cells against the ravages of environmental and ingested toxins is called as Bio protectant. Free radicals are group of atoms which has an unpaired electron and is unstable and highly reactive. They may be formed through natural human physiological process as well as from environment. Anti-oxidants are those substances which interact with those free radicals and neutralize them preventing from causing damage. They are also known as free radical scavengers. Bio protectants Peer Reviewed Journals gives us information about how these anti-oxidants help in neutralizing those free radicals, their chemical reactions, and other recent developments in the improvement of those bio protectants.
