Yuko Arakida (born 14 February 1954) is a Japanese volleyball player and Olympic champion. She is now Chairwoman of Athlete's Committee of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). She was a member of the Japanese winning team at the 1976 Olympic games. In February 2012, Yuko Arakida was appointed Sports Director of Tokyo's. She has published many articles and recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research.
