Dr. Wei Zhang obtained his Bachelor of Medicine from China Medical University, Master and MD/Ph.D in immunology from Beijing Institute of Basic Medical Sciences, followed by a postdoctoral fellowship in Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) at Tokai University (Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan). He has published over 40 scientific articles, including 10 publications as the first or corresponding author in high-quality international peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Wei Zhang serves on the review panel and editorial board of 11 journals including Journal of Cellular Biochemistry, Drug Design, Development and Therapy, Scandinavian Journal of Rheumatology, Molecular Biology, and Journal of Bioequivalence & Bioavailability. He was awarded the second prize of Beijing scientific and technological progress in 2008 because of the studies of antigen-antibody interaction. He has got four invention patents in China based on those translational medicine researches.
