Biography

Theodoros Kelesidis, MD, PhD is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Division of Infectious Diseases at UCLA Medical Center. His research focuses on immunology, infectious diseases and metabolic complications of infectious diseases including HIV infection. Dr. Kelesidis is a graduate of the University of Athens Medical School (MD) and University of California Los Angeles (PhD in Immunology) and Board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and Infectious Diseases Society of America. He is recognized as an international expert on infectious diseases, is an expert reviewer in several scientific journals such as Blood, British Journal of Cancer, Mayo Clinic Proceedings, Emerging Infectious Diseases, has published > 100 original papers, chapters and reviews and has received numerous citations.
