I graduated from University College Cork in 2006 with MB BCh BAO BMedSc (Hons). I was awarded MRCPI in 2009 and became a Dermatology SpR in 2011. I am currently undertaking a Cancer Research UK-funded PhD and Clinical Research Fellowship in the University of Leeds, under the supervision of Professor Newton-Bishop. The relationship between the histopathology of primary melanomas and the transcriptome is central to this research.
