Biography

He is awarded PhD in Biological Sciences form University of Alaska at Fairbanks, USA. Currently, he is working as a Professor in Departments of Earth & Atmospheric Sciences, and Agronomy at Purdue University, Indiana. His research focuses on the interactions among atmosphere, biosphere, and human dimension in the context of climate change, chemical element cycles, and policy-making. He has been a recipient of many award and grants. His research interests as a Professor reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through his authorship of many books.

Research Interest

Dynamics of structure and functioning of ecosystems including agricultural ecosystems; Dynamics of major greenhouse gases cycling including CO2, CH4, and N2O; Feedbacks of ecosystems and biogeochemical dynamics to the climate and society.
