Muriel Cario-Andre Ph.D. has 20 years of experience in pathophysiology of human skin pigmentation and has published numerous original articles in peer-reviewed journals and in three books. She is an editorial Board member of "Journal of Pigmentary disorsders". She is the team leader of the "Physiopathology of pigmentation and tissue engineering group" of INSERM 1035. She collaborates with academic teams and Cosmetic Industries. Dr. Cario-Andre is the co-manager of Aquiderm a technology transfer unit specialized especially in skin engineering and evaluation of efficacy of cosmetic Products (pigmenting, depigmenting, photoprotective). Sample of expertise includes: pigmentary disorders, dermal -epidermal interactions, photoprotection, skin modelling (diseases cells or genetically modified cells), cutaneous differentiation.
