Biography

Dr. Kapur is Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and Attending Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. In February 2010, Dr. Kapur was named the G. Tom Shires, M.D. Faculty Scholar in Surgery in recognition of his outstanding commitment to clinical surgery, research, and education. His research interests include Kidney Transplantation, Pediatric Kidney Transplantation, Living Donor Kidney Transplantation, Pancreas Transplantation, Dialysis Access Surgery, Islet Cell Transplantation. He published and authored many articles related to transplantation.
