He is currently working as lecturer at the Department of Immunology, Faculty of Medical Laboratory Sciences, Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto, Nigeria. He has been a recipient of many award and grants. His international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals. He is the Editorial Board Member of journal of pigmentary disorder and serves as a member of various associations apart from being an author for many books and articles like Implication of vaccination on measles reduction and elimination in Nigeria, The role of toll-like receptors in B-cell development and immunopathogenesis of common variable immunodeficiency, EBV and vitamin D status in relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis patients with a unique cytokine signature.
