Dr. Jesus Anampa is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medical Oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center. A native of Peru, Dr. Anampa finished medical school at Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Lima, Peru and successfully finished Internal Medicine Residency at Rochester General Hospital in Rochester, NY. Dr. Anampa initially joined Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center to complete his fellowship in clinical hematology/medical oncology and then joined our medical oncology faculty team at AECOM/MMC. Dr. Anampa is a practicing physician who specializes in breast medical oncology and clinical and translational cancer research. Dr. Anampa has strong interest in immunological aspects of oncogenesis in breast cancer, raising his research interest about breast cancer differences among patients with breast cancer and Human Immunodeficiency virus infection (HIV).
