Biography

Ceguevara Afaneh, MD, FACS is an Assistant Professor of Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. He serves as the Program Director of the Advanced GI and Minimally Invasive Surgery Fellowship at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. He is the Director of the Cornell Comprehensive Hernia Center. He specializes in Robotic Surgery, General surgery, Foregut surgery, Bariatric surgery, as well as gastroesophageal motility disorders and colorectal disorders.
