Biography

Michael Schudson is Professor of Journalism and Adjunct Professor of Sociology at Columbia University. He is Professor Emeritus of Communication at the University of California, San Diego. He is the author of seven books, co-editor of three others, and most recently the author of The Rise of the Right to Know: Politics and the Culture of Transparency, 1945-1975, published fall, 2015 by Harvard University Press.

Research Interest
