Biography

Élia Cláudia de Souza Almeida is odontologist graduated from the Uberaba University (UNIUBE), Uberaba, Minas Gerais in 1997, Master (2002) in Public Health from the São Paulo University (USP), Ribeirão Preto, SP and PhD in Pathology (2011) by Triangulo Mineiro Federal University, Uberaba, MG. At the moment it works in the Triangulo Mineiro Federal University (UFTM) in Uberaba, Minas Gerais as a collaborator researcher. His research projects includes changes in the oral cavity of HIV-positive patients, morphological changes in the digestive tract and cancers of the female genital tract, with emphasis on morphology. She worked as a teacher in graduate courses in health between 2002 and 2010 in the disciplines of Cell Biology and Histology. Collaborates in the supervision of master and doctoral theses and disciplines at the Post Graduate Program in Health Sciences (UFTM). Collaborates as revising articles in scientific journals such as Gynecology and Obstetrics, Infectious Diseases and Therapy, Journal of Infectious Diseases and Therapy, Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Radiation Therapy and Journal of Oral Hygiene and Health.
