In this fast paced technological world, we are taking giant steps in the field of robotics with main focus on technical aspects, however; we are convinced that we are at the beginning of a huge future. It is time for us to think where we want to take this forward. Ideally, setting boundaries, restrictions are not for robotics itself but for the applications and development of artificial intelligence that will define the future of robotics and our society. Quite often we ask ourselves, ├ó┬?┬?if we can do it and not if we must do it├ó┬?┬Ł, this gives a feeling that we do not have control over technology and this is not good for us to arrive at a conclusion. This is the right time to lay the foundations for the development of robotics applications that will define the future for robotics. Reaching a conclusion on the future of robotics is a hard one however; the effort on this topic is required to arrive at the short term profitable and useful applications of robotics. At Macco Robotics, our primary goal is to bring robotics to the masses and have it applied in our day to day life. For this, we have two strategic business lines: (i) Designing and manufacturing of robots in leisure sector: It will include hotels, Shopping malls and theme parks etc. The purpose of leisure sector for the entry of robotics is because, the false fear about robots will be proved wrong and the factor of ├ó┬?┬?friendliness├ó┬?┬? among robots and humans can be developed rather than applying robotics in any other field.Automation of hotels with Robots, Designing robots that will interact with people and performing tasks that will add value to the hotel and can free people from unwanted tasks. These could save people their time and lead their lives at much more comfort, productively. (ii) Design and Manufacture of Domestic Robots for daily life, like home automation control, health monitoring of the people regularly and monitoring and assisting the routine tasks of people with slight or complete disability. These could be the beginning for the domestic robots with infinite future.
