Abstract :

With the continuous development and innovation of robot technology, robots play an increasingly important role in many fields, such as home, medical treatment, manufacturing, security and so on. Imagine that one day, all things will be done by robots, we just need to enjoy life, this is the future of the robot, but also the future of our humanity. The concept of group robots is inspired from the hunting behavior of lions. The male lion is the leader giving an order to the lionesses to hunt for food. When the prey is captured through cooperation between the lioness groups, the male lion will firstly enjoy their predation results. If we consider the male lion like the human, the lioness groups are as the group robotics, so the prey is equivalent to the task for severing the human. In the future, everything will be done by the group robotics and we just need to enjoy a good life. In this research, the concept about group robotics is proposed, meanwhile the humanoid robot (NAO) is used as an experimental platform for developing the system with vision, speech and motion combination. The communication methods between the group robotics are simulated like human using vision and speech, which are developed from the related algorithms of object recognition, face recognition; visual tracking and visual localization.
