Abstract :

One rifleman kidnapped a civil police personal at gun point in a police vehicle. The matter was alerted to nearby police stations to nab the kidnapper. In the course of movement, cross firing occurred between police and rifleman (kidnapper). Subsequently the accused person abandoned the vehicle due to exhaust of fuel and went inside the nearby village to hide himself. Knowing the presence of the accused, the armed police personnel surrounded the village to nab him. Finding no other ways, the accused rifle man shot himself with his service firearm. Soon after the incident the police and forensic mobile team visited the spot for collection of physical evidence. The scientific team could collect different exhibits like firearm, live ammunitions, empty cartridge cases, GSR, blood etc. The post analysis of crime spot and forensic examination of different physical evidence could reconstruct the crime and establish the event.
