Robotics is an interdisciplinary research area which involves design, construction, operation, and use of robots at the interface of computer science and engineering. Journal of Robotics publishes original research articles as well as review articles on all aspects of automated mechanical devices, from their design and fabrication, to testing and practical implementation. This International journal will carry articles describing fundamental developments in the field of robotics and specially emphasis on autonomous systems. The goal of this journal is to extend the state of the art in both symbolic and sensory based robot control and learning in the context.
Articles describing areas of environment, construction, forestry, agriculture, mining, subsea, intelligent highways, search and rescue, military, and space (orbital and planetary) are given more priority.
