Response To Placental Ischemia

The effects of placental ischemia on blood pressure and many facets observed in preeclampsia can be alleviated by inhibition of T cells, either by blocking cells with antigen interacting with T cells, or by a deficiency Overall in T cells. Above all, these data suggest the potential use of anti-inflammatory drugs targeting T cell suppression as a therapy for preeclampsia. These studies highlight the importance of targeting CD4 + T cell suppression as a means of reducing blood pressure, cytokine production, anti-angiogenic factors, autoantibodies, and the resistive index of the uterine artery v to improve symptoms of preeclampsia in late pregnancy in PE women.
