Pharmacoepidemiology is the study of the utilization and effects of drugs in a numbers of people in the world. It can be called a bridge science spanning both clinical pharmacology and epidemiology. The Pharmacoepidemiology Journal provides to explore the population studies of drug utilization and safety, comparative effectiveness research, and more. It uses the methods of epidemiology in the area of clinical pharmacology. It is a powerful tool to capture data for researchers, clinicians and policy-makers.

The main aim of this Pharmacoepidemiology International Journal is to provide an international forum for the communication and evaluation of data, methods and opinion in the discipline of pharmacoepidemiology. The journal regularly publishes reports covering wide range of topics which include new challenges of over drug use, insufficient use and inappropriate use of drugs. The development of pharmacoepidemiology should improve the use of rational drugs.
