Nanomedicine is the utilization of nanotechnology in the field of medicine and research. Nanomedicine ranges from the nanomaterials and biological devices medical applications to Nanoelectronic biosensors, and future applications of Nanomedicine and nanotechnology such as biological machines. Current nanomedicine problems involve understanding the toxicity and environmental implications of nanoscale materials. The nanomaterials size is mostly similar to that of biological structures and molecules, therefore, nanomaterials can be useful for biomedical research and applications both in vivo and in vitro. Nanomedicine aims to deliver in the near future a valuable set of research instruments and medical useful devices. Nanotechnology has allowed drugs to be delivered to specific cells using nanoparticles.
