Bitter herbs like gentian and chamomile, when taken in liquid form or in the form of teas before eating, contribute to the breakdown of fats and cholesterol and also stimulate gastric secretions. Herbs used as food help increase fiber and extend the base of food plants such as dried nettle leaf can be added to spaghetti sauce, sprouted fenugreek which changes blood sugar and dandelion leaf which is a diuretic balanced can be added to salads. Green tea is the common herbal treatment for weight loss. Green tea not only contains antioxidants but also has thermogenic properties. It therefore produces heat in the body of the body and increases energy consumption and fat oxidation, which makes the body burn body fat faster.
