Viral genomes can be made out of either RNA or DNA. The genomes of RNA infections can be either single-abandoned or twofold abandoned RNA, and may contain at least one separate RNA atoms (portions: monopartit or multipartit genome). DNA infections can have either single-abandoned or twofold abandoned genomes. Most DNA infection genomes are made out of a solitary, straight atom of DNA, however some are comprised of a roundabout DNA particle.
